Chanel is hiring an Account Manager at Stansted Airport to lead travel-retail sales and concession performance for beauty and fragrance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage commercial performance of the Stansted airport account, driving sales, margin and KPI achievement across Chanel beauty and fragrance categories.
- Act as primary commercial liaison with travel-retail partners and airport concessionaires, negotiating commercial terms, resolving operational issues and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Coordinate day-to-day concession operations: stock replenishment, inventory control, merchandising standards and visual directives to uphold brand presentation.
- Lead and develop on-site retail teams and third‑party staff through training, coaching and performance reviews to secure consistent client service and product knowledge.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts, budget monitoring and regular performance reports; identify commercial opportunities and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, health & safety and airport-specific security protocols; manage crisis response and escalations with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional commercial, marketing and supply‑chain teams to execute product launches, promotions and seasonal merchandising plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in travel retail, airport concessions or luxury retail account management, preferably within fragrance/beauty.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and KPI-driven performance management.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of recruiting, developing and motivating retail teams or concession partners.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management capabilities, including experience liaising with retailers and airport operators.
- Fluent English and professional business communication skills (verbal and written).

Experience
Typically 4–7 years of progressive experience in luxury retail or travel retail with direct responsibility for account or concession performance; prior exposure to fragrance or beauty categories and working with airport retailers is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, marketing or equivalent professional experience.
