Chanel seeks an Account Manager to lead Fragrance & Beauty retail operations at Luton Airport. Permanent full-time role with team leadership and commercial responsibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a diverse, high-performing team through mentorship, coaching, and continuous training focused on product knowledge and service excellence
- Manage day-to-day counter operations including rota scheduling, stock monitoring, and accurate reporting aligned with retailer systems
- Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and category strategy to drive commercial performance and identify growth opportunities
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions and improve retail results
- Execute brand activations, in-store events, and promotional campaigns with meticulous attention to detail and brand integrity
- Recruit and engage new clients while supporting clienteling initiatives to deepen customer relationships and foster long-term loyalty
- Maintain and enhance team morale by celebrating achievement, fostering continuous learning, and supporting career development pathways
- Uphold Chanel brand standards across grooming, personal presentation, and counter environment
- Collaborate with Retail Development Manager to review counter performance, share insights, and develop growth strategies
- Set individual and team goals, provide regular performance feedback, and support career progression plans
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a luxury or premium retail environment, preferably in beauty or fragrance
- Demonstrated ability to coach, inspire, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced retail setting
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities with proven decision-making skills
- Passion for creating memorable, client-centric experiences and building lasting relationships
- Solution-focused approach with the ability to thrive in evolving, dynamic environments

Experience
Proven track record of leading retail teams in a luxury or premium environment, with demonstrable success in managing counter operations, driving commercial performance, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Ideally, prior experience within beauty, fragrance, or luxury goods retail.
