Chanel Account Manager position at John Lewis Oxford Street, leading Fragrance & Beauty team in London. Permanent, full-time retail leadership role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing retail team with emphasis on collaboration, diversity, and empowerment
  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations including rota management, stock monitoring, and accurate reporting aligned with retailer systems
  • Conduct onboarding and continuous training programs to ensure strong product knowledge, service excellence, and operational compliance
  • Set and review individual and team goals, provide regular performance feedback, and support career development planning
  • Monitor and analyse business KPIs to inform strategic actions and improve commercial performance
  • Contribute to business planning including forecasting, promotional strategies, and category development
  • Proactively recruit new clients and support clienteling initiatives to deepen customer relationships and drive loyalty
  • Collaborate with the Retail Development Manager to review counter performance and develop growth strategies
  • Build strong partnerships with retailer teams and support cross-functional collaboration on shared business objectives
  • Ensure flawless execution of brand activations, events, and in-store campaigns
  • Uphold brand standards for grooming, presentation, and environment
  • Champion the brand's signature service approach by leading with authenticity, empathy, and deep product expertise
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on the full recruitment cycle

  • Proven leadership experience in a luxury or premium retail environment, ideally within beauty or fragrance
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop a diverse team whilst fostering a culture of collaboration
  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial awareness and decision-making capabilities
