Chandon Australia seeks a Hospitality Supervisor in Melbourne, Victoria to lead premium front-of-house operations in the Yarra Valley.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations across Restaurant, Lounge, Tasting, Retail, and Events venues, ensuring seamless service delivery
- Represent Chandon's brand values with pride and support the management team in delivering experiences to the highest standard
- Coach and support a high-performing team to deliver memorable hospitality experiences and achieve retail sales objectives
- Actively contribute to sales targets through confident product recommendations and promoting Club Chandon membership
- Drive continuous improvement in service standards and guest satisfaction, identifying and resolving operational issues proactively
- Ensure venue presentation is maintained to the highest standards, overseeing facilities and operational readiness
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a premium, high-volume front-of-house role
- Proven experience running service operations and coordinating events
- Natural leader with strong communication skills capable of coaching teams
- Exceptional attention to detail with high personal presentation standards
- Genuine commitment to outstanding guest service, adept at handling requests and complaints with grace
- Strong wine and food knowledge with comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations and best practices
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Reliable transportation to and from the winery
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in premium hospitality operations, with at least 1 year in a formal leadership capacity overseeing front-of-house service in a high-volume environment.
