Chandon in Yountville, CA seeks a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead hospitality, events and F&B operations at its Napa Brand Home.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Food & Beverage team: recruit, train, appraise and coach staff to deliver consistent service excellence and sales performance.
  • Design and manage Wine & Food Experience menus, seasonal offerings and Exclusive/Private Event executions per BEO specifications.
  • Oversee daily hospitality operations on property, ensuring service standards, sequence of service, equipment condition, par levels and product presentation.
  • Manage reservations and table assignments to optimize guest flow, pre-seat preparations and revenue; operate and control the reservation system.
  • Drive commercial targets including monthly revenue, wine club acquisition and upsell initiatives for experience upgrades, add‑ons and retail sales.
  • Build and maintain strong liaison with Event Planning, culinary and operations teams to ensure clear communication and flawless delivery.
  • Own labour and cost control: produce weekly staff schedules, manage labour costs through effective rostering and monitor COGS for experiences and menu items.
  • Administer POS, cash and credit procedures, daily opening/closing and financial accuracy while protecting payment security.
  • Analyze guest feedback and social reviews; implement service recovery and continuous improvements to enhance ratings and satisfaction.
  • Ensure accessibility and personalized service for special guests (VIPs, elderly, disabled, families) and actively resolve guest complaints.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of progressive hospitality experience, with supervisory experience in hotel, restaurant or similar high‑volume environments.
  • Proven background as a Front Office Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Restaurant Manager or comparable leadership role.
  • Undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience (degree strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated competency in team building, coaching, performance management and delivering against KPIs.
  • Excellent customer service, conflict management and service recovery skills; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
