Moët Hennessy Wine Estates & Chandon — Finance & Tax Intern in Paris (7ème). 6‑month internship starting July 2026 in the Finance Directorate.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary finance contact for operational teams: manage invoice follow‑up, provisions, inter‑cost centre reclassifications and system access requests.
  • Support monthly budget follow‑up with Marketing and monitor project spend versus plan.
  • Contribute to the migration to a new accounting tool by reviewing processes, drafting operational procedures and assisting teams with invoice validation and tracking.
  • Execute month‑end and forecast close tasks for Divisions: validate House entries (balance sheet, P&L overheads, CapEx), prepare management reporting (including DSO) for Group and Top Management.
  • Participate in monthly close for a legal entity: record volumes, P&L and balance sheet items and coordinate with external accounting advisors.
  • Support central month‑end close activities: define management fees, produce central reports and assist budget definition and consolidation workflows.
  • Participate in transfer pricing activities: define transfer prices for new products, update annual transfer pricing schedules and coordinate documentation across the maisons with the Tax team.
  • Assist on financial operations projects including capital operations and preparation of the annual dividend dossier in collaboration with Treasury.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Grande École or university programme with a specialisation in Finance, Management Control or equivalent; engineering graduates with a postgraduate finance focus are also considered.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • At least six months of prior corporate experience is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; familiarity with macros/VBA is a strong plus. Proficiency in PowerPoint and a keen aptitude for accounting tools and IT are expected.
  • Personal attributes: analytical rigour, synthesis and reporting abilities, strong teamwork and communication skills, adaptability and sensitivity to the luxury and wines & spirits sector.

Experience

Entry‑level internship; prior exposure to corporate finance, accounting or controlling (minimum ~6 months) is preferred but not mandatory.

Education
