Chandon seeks a Finance Analyst for a VIE opportunity in Coldstream, Victoria, Australia, starting February 2027 for 12 to 24 months. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, reporting, data analysis and business development, alongside financial reviews, reconciliations and process improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals and reconciliations; maintain the fixed asset register and help ensure monthly expenses are recorded accurately.
- Contribute to financial reviews, analyse operating expenditure and sales performance, and maintain direct-to-consumer reporting.
- Support budget and forecast cycles, consolidate inputs and work with budget owners, including on the Brand Home profit and loss forecast.
- Maintain point-of-sale master data and assist with indirect tax documentation, internal control reconciliations and exception reporting.
Qualifications
- A university or business school degree.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in turning financial data into useful business insights.
- Excellent Excel skills, including confidence working with macro-enabled files.
- Data visualisation skills using Power BI; knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and an interest in data science are advantages.
- Fluent English and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across functions.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and tools.
