Role & Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding in-person and remote customer service to guests and members, building lasting relationships and ensuring exceptional experiences throughout all touchpoints
- Maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of Chandon's wine portfolio, experiences, winery history, and brand heritage to educate and inspire members
- Manage membership database operations: accurately update member profiles, audit applications, resolve discrepancies, and ensure secure documentation
- Conduct proactive member outreach to welcome new members, gather feedback, and cultivate loyalty and satisfaction
- Liaise with outsourced client services teams to process membership applications, manage payment updates, and resolve complex member inquiries
- Identify and resolve order fulfillment issues collaboratively, addressing inventory holds, compliance failures, and payment declines to prevent delays
- Serve as a systems and processes lead for club operations, delivering training to internal and external teams, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement
- Fulfill club pickup orders and assemble welcome gifts; collaborate with retail teams on order processing
- Promote Wine Club membership by educating guests about benefits, presenting compelling offers, and supporting club functions and special events
- Provide exceptional Club Lounge service: welcome, seat, and serve wine to members while addressing membership questions and completing club sign-ups
- Support club-related projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of direct customer-facing experience in luxury or hospitality settings, demonstrating exceptional service delivery and relationship-building with discerning clientele
- Demonstrated passion for wine and luxury goods with commitment to developing deep knowledge of Chandon's offerings and brand values
- Proven sales ability with capacity to identify customer needs and create compelling wine sales and promotional opportunities
- Direct-to-consumer (DTC) business experience, including demonstrated ability to deliver consultative sales experiences and implement customer-centric process improvements
- Proficiency in eCommerce platforms and club management systems; hands-on experience with Salesforce, VIN65, and/or Commerce7
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools
- Exceptional data entry and reporting skills with proven accuracy in database management and information verification
- High degree of professionalism, empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution under pressure
- Strong time management, prioritization, and goal-setting abilities to manage multiple concurrent projects independently
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles within luxury hospitality, wine retail, or direct-to-consumer environments. Demonstrated background in sales, customer service, membership operations, or wine club management preferred. Prior experience with eCommerce platforms, club systems administration, and data analysis highly valued.
Education
High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
