Chandon seeks Business Development Assistant internship in Paris. Support international market strategy, data analysis, and commercial operations across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze business data from market sources and IWSR databases (sales figures, market share, A&P strategy maps) to inform international strategic direction
- Respond to daily market requests including asset provision, benchmarking, relationship coordination, stock allocation studies, and pricing/distribution strategy reinforcement
- Provide operational support for European incentive event organization, overseeing event design, agency coordination, and market liaison from conception through execution
- Support training delivery for commercial teams with Chandon Spritz innovation sales arguments and positioning materials
- Consolidate cross-market information including orders, POS merchandise purchases, and promotional offers from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region
- Identify commercial levers and propose promotional activation recommendations
- Manage operational and logistical requirements for markets, including APO analysis and product referencing optimization
- Participate in cross-functional workshops and strategic initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and ad-hoc studies on competitor activities, market positioning, product/country/range performance
- Participate in monthly market calls and manage follow-up actions and communications
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and stakeholder documentation
- Prepare and distribute market newsletters containing best practices, key figures, and upcoming activation details
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a business school, engineering school, hospitality management, or related university program
- Full command of English (written and oral)
- Prior professional experience in a business environment
- Interest in the wine and spirits industry, hospitality sector, and luxury market dynamics
