CELINE in New York seeks a VIP Trainee (internship) to support sample trafficking, showroom operations and press monitoring.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage sample trafficking between New York, Paris HQ and LA: submit editorial and VIP dressing requests, coordinate send-outs and returns, and track shipments (domestic & international).
- Maintain and update New York VIP sample inventory using Launch Metrics; prepare dressing proposal PDFs and preserve image inventory of VIP samples.
- Oversee showroom and sample closet presentation: daily organisation, merchandising of men’s and women’s collections, and replenishment of supplies.
- Coordinate dry cleaning, steaming, pressing and presentation of returned samples to ensure pristine condition prior to re‑use.
- Arrange logistics for VIP gifting and event collateral: receive product and packaging, wrap, prepare proforma invoices and manage shipping.
- Monitor press and social media for regional VIP exposure: perform periodic image searches, maintain media lists and compile daily coverage reports.
- Research rising entertainment and music talent aligned with brand aesthetic and compile monthly reports for the VIP manager.
Qualifications
- Eligible to receive paid compensation in the United States and available full-time for a 12‑month traineeship (May 2026–May 2027).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Launch Metrics; strong computer literacy.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to sample and showroom management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to liaise with stylists, couriers and international offices.
- Enthusiasm for luxury fashion, celebrity dressing and editorial processes; ability to thrive in a small, fast‑paced team.

Experience
Entry-level internship requiring basic experience or familiarity with showroom operations, editorial dressing or fashion PR; prior internships in fashion, PR, or sample coordination preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree program in fashion, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
