CELINE — Textile Development Intern (Collections), Paris: 6-month full-time internship starting Sept 2026 (school agreement required).
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily arrivals of collection fabrics: prepare swatches with labels, verify conformity and ensure correct handover to textile coordination teams for stock tracking.
- Maintain and update seasonal material trackers and development files; assist with colour validation and the organisation of fabric samples.
- Prepare fabric presentations and meetings for the Artistic Direction: receive samples, produce labels and arrange hangers and information for review.
- Coordinate information with suppliers in France and internationally; attend supplier meetings in Paris to select qualities and maintain supplier contacts.
- Conduct creative research for upcoming collections: develop colour ranges, pattern variants and material proposals in collaboration with the development team.
- Oversee fabric archives and development records and ensure the smooth operation of the fabric studio.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a recognised fashion school, business school with a fashion pathway, or equivalent university programme (school internship agreement required).
- Strong organisational rigour and attention to detail.
- Open-minded with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across creative and technical teams.
- Sensitivity to product quality and materiality.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Entry-level internship for students; no prior professional experience required, though practical exposure to fabrics, material sourcing or fashion development is advantageous.
