Celine is seeking a Textile Collection Development Assistant to support fabric and material development, supplier coordination, creative research, collection archives, and studio operations. This is a six-month, full-time internship starting in March 2027; a school internship agreement is required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily arrivals of collection fabrics, prepare labeled swatches, check conformity, and ensure materials are correctly transmitted to the textile coordination teams for stock tracking.
  • Track material developments by updating tracking files and the seasonal materials binder, assisting with color approval, and managing material samples.
  • Prepare fabric meetings with the Artistic Direction team by receiving samples, preparing labels and garment racks, and coordinating material information with suppliers in France and abroad.
  • Attend supplier appointments in Paris, contributing to quality selection and supplier relations.
  • Conduct creative research, including developing color ranges and pattern variations, to support upcoming collection development with the teams.
  • Manage archives for collection fabrics and material developments.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Fabrics Studio.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying at a business or fashion school, or in an equivalent university program.
  • Recognized for rigor and organizational skills.
  • Open-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to the product.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • A school internship agreement is required.
