CELINE seeks a Team Manager in Costa Mesa, CA to lead boutique operations, drive sales and elevate client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and coach a team of Client Advisors to achieve sales targets and deliver exemplary client service through daily coaching, weekly checks and monthly reviews using internal performance tools (RISE).
  • Recruit, onboard and build succession plans for store personnel, ensuring staffing decisions align with company standards and long‑term commercial objectives.
  • Drive sales performance by empowering the sales team, coordinating clienteling resources (client books, appointment business) and creating local events and incentives to expand the client base.
  • Maintain exceptional client service standards; resolve client escalations, support associates in decision‑making and monitor Voice of Client (VOC) and Mystery Shop results.
  • Oversee daily store operations including POS and inventory functions, shrink control, liaison with logistics and product teams, and timely completion of corporate reporting.
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising to implement compelling in‑store environments aligned with brand standards and local market trends; review sales and take corrective merchandising actions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a retail environment with emphasis on operations, store management or administration; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Business school or university degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership in recruiting, coaching and performance management with measurable KPI results.
  • Proven clienteling capability; candidates with established client books are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and comfortable learning and using multiple software platforms.
