CELINE Store Manager — Kuala Lumpur (TRX). Lead boutique operations, sales and client strategy for CELINE in Malaysia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the store's commercial strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets while maximising profitability (P&L).
- Monitor, analyse and act on KPIs to identify growth opportunities and drive corrective action to improve store performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing retail team; recruit talent, build succession pipelines and support managers with individual development plans.
- Ensure exemplary client development through personalised clienteling, acquisition strategies and long‑term relationship building.
- Ensure consistent brand image and visual merchandising standards across the boutique; collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Merchandising teams.
- Oversee store operations and compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements, including inventory accuracy and stock management.
- Drive full completion of mandatory training (including the CELINE e‑learning platform) and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Plan and negotiate local events and partnerships with department stores and external partners to elevate brand presence and generate business.
Qualifications
- Business school or university degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum five years' management experience in retail, with at least five years in luxury or fashion management roles.
- Proven leadership in managing and motivating managers and multi‑discipline store teams.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering sales targets and managing store P&L.
- Strong commercial acumen, advanced understanding of retail KPIs and business analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; client‑centric orientation and passion for CELINE's products and heritage.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
