About Celine

Founded in Paris in 1945 by Céline Vipiana, Celine is a storied French luxury house renowned for its modernist elegance, exacting craftsmanship, and quietly powerful vision of contemporary style. As part of LVMH, the Maison offers employees the opportunity to contribute to a global brand while remaining rooted in Parisian heritage, artisanal excellence, and creative discipline. Celine seeks individuals who combine cultural sensitivity, precision, and entrepreneurial spirit across design, merchandising, retail, operations, and corporate functions. The house fosters an environment where talent is expected to uphold exceptional standards, shape refined client experiences, and participate in the continuing evolution of a distinctive luxury identity.

The Senior IT Procurement Specialist leads Celine’s IT and technology-services procurement strategy while overseeing selected indirect categories, including insurance, legal fees and regional purchases. This full-time, fixed-term maternity-cover contract runs from December 2026 to September 2027, with a potential start in December 2026; the role supports cost optimisation, risk management and Group synergies.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and challenge requirements from internal stakeholders across IT, Digital and business teams.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT categories—including technology services, software and infrastructure—and specific indirect procurement categories, including insurance, legal fees and regional non-production purchases, in line with approved budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise costs, rationalise purchasing and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Lead the full supplier consultation process (RFI, RFQ and RFP), establishing clear and transparent evaluation criteria.
  • Conduct high-value commercial and contractual negotiations to secure optimal pricing, payment terms and service levels (SLA).
  • Regularly assess strategic partners’ and suppliers’ performance through KPI-based reviews.
  • Anticipate and mitigate procurement risks, including supply security, compliance and volatility, while ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and the responsible purchasing charter.
  • Support product launches.
  • Conduct product analyses and competitive benchmarking.
  • Drive the development of procurement synergies with other LVMH Maisons and within LVMH Fashion Group.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal and IT stakeholders to secure the legal and budgetary aspects of signed contracts.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of confirmed professional experience in IT procurement in an international environment or within a large group; additional experience in general indirect procurement is an asset.
  • Fluent French and English are essential for international synergies and negotiations with global suppliers.
  • Strong command of strategic sourcing techniques, complex tender management and IT and indirect procurement category structuring.
  • Ability to conduct high-level negotiations and secure favourable commercial and legal agreements.
  • Ability to monitor and manage the performance and compliance of technology partners and external service providers.
  • Ability to analyse TCO, track procurement budgets and manage savings plans through rigorous spend-data analysis.
  • Awareness of business ethics, IT contracts (licences, SaaS, GDPR) and local and international compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work constructively across IT, Legal and Finance and develop cross-Maison synergies.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to challenge requirements, identify operational inefficiencies and propose pragmatic, agile procurement solutions.
  • Intellectual and operational flexibility to manage specialist IT projects alongside diverse indirect procurement categories.
  • Results-oriented approach and strong focus on delivering value through effective, sustainable solutions during the transition period.
