CELINE seeks a Senior FP&A Director in New York to lead North America budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the fashion house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead North America budgeting, reforecast cycles and long-term strategic planning, ensuring alignment with HQ guidelines and preparing executive budget packages and presentations.
  • Oversee monthly FP&A activity: P&L and KPI analysis, variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast), trend and profitability analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment.
  • Build and deliver management reporting and dashboards for sales, gross margin, inventory and operating expenses; prepare monthly executive summaries and business review materials.
  • Manage CapEx planning and approval processes, run simulations for new stores and lease renewals, and perform post-mortem analyses on investments.
  • Partner with accounting to conclude monthly financial close, perform financial due diligence and identify risks to be reflected in financial statements.
  • Control operational expenses, identify efficiency and productivity opportunities, and propose actionable cost-saving plans.
  • Lead, coach and develop the finance team to deliver proactive, value-added business support and foster professional autonomy.
  • Drive process optimization and reinforce internal controls and company policies across the brand’s finance function.
  • Execute ad-hoc financial assignments and analyses as requested by local management and central teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience with significant FP&A responsibility; substantial experience in the Retail industry is essential.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience related to retail facilities/operations (store contribution and productivity analysis).
  • Experience in an international company and/or a Big Four audit firm is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Experience

Fifteen or more years of progressive finance experience with demonstrated ownership of FP&A functions in retail or omnichannel environments; prior exposure to international reporting structures and audit processes strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related discipline preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 200,000 to USD 220,000 per annum.
