CELINE seeks a Senior Finance Director, North America in New York to lead FP&A, budgeting and reporting. $200,000–$220,000 annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead all North America financial operations, reporting to the North America President and partnering with the LVMH Fashion Group CFO on financial strategy.
  • Own budgeting, reforecast cycles and strategic planning; prepare comprehensive budget packages and executive presentations aligned with HQ guidelines.
  • Drive monthly FP&A deliverables: P&L and KPI analysis, variance and trend analysis, risk/opportunity assessment and profitability evaluations.
  • Design and distribute regular management reporting and dashboards (sales, gross margin, inventory, Opex) and prepare materials for monthly business reviews.
  • Manage Capex governance: review assumptions, prepare Capex requests, run post-mortems and model new store openings and lease renewals to inform negotiations.
  • Oversee financial closing activities in partnership with accounting; identify and assess risks affecting financial statements.
  • Establish and reinforce internal controls and financial procedures; lead continuous improvement of closing and reporting processes.
  • Build, coach and develop a high-performing finance team that delivers proactive, value-added business partnering to local and central stakeholders.
  • Execute ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as requested by local management and central HQ.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience; advanced degree or professional accounting credential is a plus.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience with demonstrable leadership in Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Proven retail experience is essential, including at least 3 years in a retail facilities or store-level financial role.
  • Experience within an international corporation and/or a Big Four audit firm is preferred.
  • Track record of managing and developing finance teams and partnering closely with commercial and operations leaders.

Experience

Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience with significant ownership of FP&A in a retail environment; prior experience supporting retail operations and store-level financial modeling (3+ years) is required. Demonstrated experience in an international company or audit background and proven leadership of a finance team.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or comparable field (advanced degree or professional certification advantageous).
