CELINE seeks a Senior Embroidery Developer in Paris to lead RTW embroidery design and production. Fixed-term, hybrid.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead embroidery development for men's and women's ready-to-wear collections, working in collaboration with a senior developer and intern
- Develop embroidery samples and conduct archival research in alignment with Studio and Creative Director requirements
- Manage special VIP project launches and ensure their successful execution
- Maintain daily communication with embroidery artisans to ensure project tracking and quality delivery
- Guarantee technical and aesthetic quality standards for all embroidery applications
- Manage budget envelopes and propose cost optimizations
- Monitor and track project costs while identifying efficiency improvements
- Facilitate handover between development, production, and visual identity coordination teams
- Supervise and mentor the embroidery development team
- Participate in collection meetings and cross-functional departmental follow-up sessions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in fashion design, textile engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in embroidery product development, ideally within the luxury sector
- Strong technical knowledge of embroidery techniques and pattern-making
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Fluent English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
