CELINE is hiring a Selling Supervisor in Canoga Park, CA (Topanga) to lead sales, merchandising and team development. $28–$31/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor sales associates to achieve individual and store sales targets, consignment goals and elevated customer experience.
- Drive sales performance by incorporating deep product knowledge to maximise units per transaction and average transaction value.
- Supervise daily floor operations, coordinate use of client relationship resources (client books, training tools) and adjust staffing to optimise results.
- Support Store Manager with team development, onboarding of newcomers and execution of disciplinary procedures in line with company policy.
- Operate and leverage the POS system for inventory management; oversee opening/closing procedures and ensure cash/tender reconciliation.
- Partner with Visual and Regional Visual Managers to implement merchandising standards and execute compelling store presentations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, meet shrink targets, administer timely paperwork and perform ad hoc store projects as assigned.
- Resolve escalated customer service issues, empower associates to make customer‑centric decisions and maintain the highest service standards.
Qualifications
- Business school or university degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail; at least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Proven ability to motivate teams, drive results and deliver exceptional customer service in a high‑volume retail environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, social perceptiveness and problem‑solving aptitude.
- Computer literate with ability to learn and use company software and systems.

Experience
Minimum of 7 years of retail sales experience, ideally in a luxury environment, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and developing teams.
Education
Business school or university degree, or equivalent experience.
