CÉLINE Retail Training Supervisor in Shanghai, China – oversee on-boarding, induction, and KPI training for luxury retail stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-boarding and induction training programs for retail newcomers, ensuring alignment with HQ guidelines and local business requirements
- Plan, organize, and deliver structured induction training sessions based on regional store needs and headcount volumes
- Maintain and regularly update on-boarding checklists, CÉLINE Academy digital learning modules, and induction content to reflect current standards
- Monitor newcomers' behavioral development post-induction and collaborate with area retail training leads on performance follow-up
- Enhance store service levels through targeted training solutions and on-floor coaching across the East region and outlet locations
- Partner with Retail Managers to identify and address regional training gaps, implementing customized development programs
- Develop and conduct KPI improvement training initiatives, providing ongoing coaching to key front-line staff
- Collaborate with local and central training teams to co-create and deliver comprehensive programs including product knowledge, soft skills, and clienteling training
- Support the Head of Retail Training in analyzing CÉLINE Learning App performance metrics on a monthly basis
- Lead clienteling events and workshops as a role model, partnering with retail and clienteling teams to engage with valued clients
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales teams based on on-site observations, focusing on selling and clienteling skill development
- Manage administrative and reporting requirements associated with training programs and logistics coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in retail training or a closely related field
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs in a luxury retail environment
- Strong collaborative relationships across all organizational levels
- Deep understanding of luxury branding and customer experience principles
- Demonstrated initiative, proactivity, and professional maturity
Skills
Experience
Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in retail training, preferably within the luxury fashion or leather goods sector. Proven track record of designing, implementing, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs in a retail environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline; additional qualifications in human resources, training and development, retail management, or luxury business are advantageous.
