Celine Retail Trainee, Brand Partnerships

Overview

CELINE is a Parisian couture house specialising in leather goods and ready-to-wear, recognised for refined, minimalist design and artisanal craftsmanship. Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Brand Partnerships team with stock and operational activities for brand collaborations and out-of-network events.
• Process client transactions on the POS system and ensure merchandise is professionally wrapped and packaged to maison standards.
• Perform shipping, receiving, inventory control, inter-store transfers, stock rotations and participate in cycle and inventory counts.
• Retrieve merchandise for sales staff, support client deliveries including tracking and troubleshooting, and assist order-follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Assist visual merchandising and operations teams with moving, storing and maintaining fixtures, furniture and merchandise; coordinate minor facility and fixture repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, secure and organised stockroom and manage inventory paperwork including damages and returns.
• Support event logistics and remote selling ceremonies, adhering to client experience expectations and partnering with the retail store network for fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Current college or university undergraduate able to work full-time, or post-graduate / early-career retail professional.
• Strong customer-service orientation and genuine interest in luxury retail and product design.
• Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn POS and inventory management systems.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to travel approximately 60% to retail locations for events.
• Proactive, observant, good listener with developing problem-solving skills and clear oral and written communication.
• Foreign languages considered an asset.

Entry-level position for candidates with little to no professional retail experience; enthusiasm for learning in a luxury retail environment is essential. Prior retail exposure is a plus but not required.

Education

Current university undergraduate (able to work full-time) or post-graduate / early-career candidates in retail or related fields.
