Celine seeks a Retail Merchandising Manager for Women's Leather Goods in Paris on a permanent, full-time contract. Reporting to the EME Merchandising Director, the role develops seasonal merchandise and assortment strategies, drives sales across Europe and the Middle East, and manages distribution and inventory.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define the buying strategy and sales target before each buying session.
- Define the assortment and quantities in line with market needs and potential, as well as central guidelines.
- Present landings, key bets, collection feedback, and market trends.
- Closely monitor business by category, region, and store.
- Define and implement 360° action plans with retail, training, clienteling, and relevant teams to achieve sales targets.
- Support the retail network in addressing specific market and client needs.
- Define a distribution strategy to optimize sales and sell-through.
- Optimize sales by organizing frequent stock rebalancing.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to monitor stock coverage.
- Achieve the sales plan for the European and Middle East market while controlling inventory through a strategic, holistic approach.
- Generate seasonal merchandise plans and assortment strategies to maximize opportunities and grow the EME retail network business.
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English.
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in a retail environment, with regional exposure.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pleasant, self-initiative, a team player, and willing to learn.
- Organized, with the ability to meet deadlines and goals.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
