Céline seeks a Retail Merchandising Assistant internship in Paris for January 2027. Support men's RTW strategy and analytics for six months.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly performance reports analyzing sales trends across zones and product categories, tracking key performance indicators
  • Identify growth opportunities and best-selling items, monitoring action plan execution and follow-up
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and competitive benchmarking to inform merchandising decisions
  • Prepare agenda and supporting materials for monthly meetings with regional retail zones
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in buying sessions with merchandisers during showroom visits
  • Support product launches and coordinate related merchandising activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with zone managers and cross-functional stakeholders including Visual Merchandising, Training, and Supply Chain teams

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (Bac+3), Master's degree (Bac+4), or equivalent university-level business, commerce, or fashion program
  • Prior internship experience in Retail Merchandising, Business Planning, or Retail operations preferred
  • Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated product acumen
  • Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize effectively in a demanding environment
  • Demonstrated interest in the retail and fashion sectors
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English
