Céline Paris: 6-month Purchasing Assistant internship for materials and components support. Start January 2027. On-site.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor inventory of materials and components at manufacturing partners and the warehouse facility in Italy
  • Transmit inventory requests and coordinate communications with multiple supply partners
  • Manage inventory returns, process updates in the ERP system (ORLIWEB), and reconcile records
  • Maintain and update the materials and components reference library, including master binders prepared for finished product manufacturers
  • Collect updated master documentation weekly from the Materials Development team and refresh records according to seasonal offering evolution
  • Manage and update fabric books, support materials, and internal working documents
  • Process and analyse warranty claims in the CCARE tool, verify stock levels, place component orders for shortfalls, and track shipments by region
  • Provide operational support for the launch of materials and components procurement for pilot production runs in collaboration with production managers
  • Update confirmed order prices in the PLM system (CELINK)
  • Verify and validate raw materials invoices
  • Organize and archive fabric collections at the end of each season

Qualifications

  • Engineering or business school degree, or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent English; Italian language skills are a plus
  • Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
