CELINE — Production Supervisor in Radda in Chianti, Italy. Permanent full‑time role leading production lines, Lean Manufacturing and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise one or more production lines to achieve quantitative, qualitative and productivity targets, assigning daily goals and ensuring adherence to the production plan.
- Coach, mentor and develop production operators; implement polyvalence projects to increase technical skills and workforce flexibility.
- Schedule daily tasks in coordination with the Planning department and communicate the work plan to the team.
- Monitor material availability in collaboration with Cutting and Warehouse departments and escalate shortages proactively.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement data‑driven solutions to improve line efficiency and performance.
- Plan and coordinate machine/tool improvements, repairs and line reorganisations with Continuous Improvement and maintenance teams.
- Support and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives across assigned lines.
- Compile and analyse daily reports on efficiency, quality and volumes; share results with operators, colleagues and the Production Manager.
- Promote and enforce safety standards and behaviours to mitigate workplace risks.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics, or equivalent experience in a Quality/production role.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; prior experience in luxury or fashion manufacturing is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable experience supervising production teams and delivering productivity improvements.
- Fluent Italian and English; French is a plus.
- Strong organisational aptitude, attention to detail, reliability and role awareness.

Experience
Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing company; experience within the luxury or fashion sector is preferred.
Education
Master’s degree in engineering or economics, or equivalent professional experience in a Quality/production role.

This position is based in Radda in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy, within easy reach of Florence.
