Role & Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for manufacturing processes across both Radda in Chianti and Strada in Chianti plants, meeting and exceeding expected volumes and efficiency targets
• Oversee daily and weekly production planning, scheduling, and optimization activities in collaboration with the planning department to mitigate deviations and enhance workflows
• Lead production transformation projects aimed at increasing agility and responsiveness; champion continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes and eliminate waste
• Ensure full compliance with the highest quality standards for finished products, implementing and overseeing robust and proactive quality control processes
• Generate detailed progress reports on efficiency and key performance indicators for both plants, presenting analyses and recommendations to the Industrial Director and peer executives
• Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies, promoting safe behaviors and secure working environments
• Lead and develop a team of 2 Production Managers, 9 Production Supervisors, 3 Industrialization Technicians, 1 HRBP, 1 Financial Controlling Manager, and 1 Planning Manager; oversee recruitment, training, and workforce planning processes
• Collaborate with the Operational Excellence Manager and his team to drive organizational improvements
• Serve as a member of the Company Steering Committee

Qualifications

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in production management roles
• At least 3–5 years with multi-plant responsibilities or in complex, large-scale manufacturing environments
• Profound knowledge of industrial production processes and proven experience implementing and managing Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement programs and production transformation projects aimed at fostering agility
• Technical skills in Quality and Safety
• Basic understanding of financial management, including ability to review Plant Profit & Loss statements
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to interact with and influence all organizational levels
• Strong aptitude for coaching, motivating, and building high-performing teams
• Proven complex project management capabilities with ability to define priorities and achieve objectives in dynamic environments
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills under pressure
• Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders

Experience

Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in production management roles, including at least 3–5 years with multi-plant responsibilities or managing complex, large-scale manufacturing environments. Demonstrated success in leading production transformation initiatives and implementing Lean Manufacturing systems across multiple facilities.

Education

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or related discipline. A Master's degree in Production Management or Operations is considered a significant advantage.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 120,000 per annum.
