Céline seeks Product Manager for Women's Leather Goods in Paris. Drive collection development, merchandising strategy, and cross-functional coordination for luxury handbags.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop collection briefs and frameworks, defining market requirements through qualitative insights and quantitative analysis; establish appropriate sizing and structure for each collection
  • Manage product lines and collection development in close collaboration with the group lead and design team; maintain collection tracking tools including syntheses, collection plans, product lists, pricing schedules, and sample reviews
  • Coordinate material procurement for sampling, launch samples for showroom presentations, and oversee product refinement in partnership with Italian development teams
  • Define target pricing and margins to balance commercial viability with brand positioning
  • Orchestrate buying sessions by drafting showroom briefs, creating and updating documentation (modelarios, SKU lists, compliance checklists), and validating product information in PLM systems
  • Conduct sell-in and sell-out analysis with Retail Merchandising; produce ad-hoc performance analyses and competitive activity monitoring
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Image, PR, Legal, Digital, and Visual Merchandising departments; develop training materials for boutiques and ecommerce product descriptions

Qualifications

  • Commerce school or university degree
  • 3–5 years' professional experience in merchandising or product development within leather goods
  • Strong product sensibility and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated autonomy, capacity to prioritize effectively, and adaptability to rapid change
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and presentation capabilities
  • Collaborative team orientation
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite with advanced Excel competency
  • Professional-level English fluency (required)
  • Italian language proficiency preferred
