Celine is seeking a Product Development Assistant intern for its Tailoring & Sportswear team in Paris, supporting collection operations from prototype launch through final development. The role includes product data administration, component and material tracking, fitting coordination, prototype logistics and VIP projects; it is a full-time, six-month internship starting potentially in March 2027, with a school internship agreement required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Enter and update collection information in internal tools (PLM – Celink).
- Monitor and update collection tables in Excel.
- Help track components and materials required for collection development.
- Assist with ordering and tracking components.
- Track fabric dye orders, follow up with internal teams and monitor deadlines.
- Support prototype launches and development follow-up with workshops and partners.
- Prepare garments before fittings.
- Coordinate with workshops to collect completed samples.
- Receive, prepare and store prototypes and collection pieces.
- Support product developers in their day-to-day work.
- Manage prototype shipments and receipts.
- Receive and distribute component deliveries.
- Work closely with the Product Development Manager on VIP developments and exceptional projects requiring specific follow-up.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at Bac+3, Bac+4 or Bac+5 level in business, textiles, fashion or an equivalent programme.
- A first internship in Retail Merchandising, Business Planning or Retail would be appreciated.
- Fluent French and English; Italian is a plus.
- Maturity and autonomy.
- Organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team orientation.
- Dynamism, curiosity and eagerness to learn.
