CELINE Operations Supervisor (Temporary) in Vancouver. Lead retail operations, stock management, and team development. CAD $25–$29/hr. August 2026–August 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify key improvements and operational efficiencies to protect product assets against theft and damage, providing transparent reporting to the Store Manager
  • Support the Store Manager to drive best practice and optimum processes across all retail operations
  • Identify gaps in store operational knowledge and develop targeted training programs
  • Conduct comprehensive training for new hires and follow-up sessions on Cegid store operating system
  • Support teams in achieving stock loss targets by implementing new policies and procedures
  • Drive best practices in stockroom optimization and operational excellence
  • Act as project lead for operational initiatives, providing support to store and headquarters during launches
  • Support team development in product flow management and daily store operations
  • Deliver stock optimization analysis, reporting, and forward planning in collaboration with teams
  • Support CRM team and Store Manager in cascading actions, ensuring client data capture and data quality
  • Develop forecasting tools to assist in business planning for sales, stock, and headcount/payroll projections
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to identify cost reduction and service improvement opportunities
  • Drive efficiency improvements through commercial solutions for stock organization and organization
  • Manage compliance processes for recording gifts received and given to/from clients
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance across all stores in line with company policies
  • Review product lines weekly and maximize replenishment potential to drive sales
  • Monitor all P&L aspects to reduce costs and improve store efficiency
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control team on negative inventory reporting, weekly cycle counts, and yearly inventory
  • Maintain responsibility for store facilities management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of retail operations experience
  • Minimum 3 years of team leadership and people management
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong team leadership and ability to work independently with high motivation
  • Comprehensive understanding of USA retail laws, security regulations, and Health and Safety legislation
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and retail strategy experience
  • Passion for customer service with sales floor focus
  • Excellent time management and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with implementation focus
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels and with internal/external stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work retail schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Experience

Minimum 5 years of retail experience with a minimum of 3 years managing people. Demonstrated expertise in retail operations, stock management, team development, and process optimization within a luxury or high-end retail environment preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or relevant tertiary education in business or retail management preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 29 per hour.
