CELINE seeks an Operations Supervisor in Vancouver (Oakridge Park Mall) to lead store operations, inventory control and team training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support and improve day-to-day store operations, implementing brand guidelines and operational best practices.
- Drive loss prevention, stock protection and transparent reporting to the Store Manager.
- Lead end-to-end operational projects for store openings and initiatives, acting as primary liaison with HQ and vendors.
- Deliver training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development on store operating systems (Cegid) and operational processes.
- Manage stockflow and replenishment processes, including weekly product reviews, cycle counts and annual inventory in partnership with Inventory Control.
- Develop forecasting tools and reporting to support sales, stock and headcount/payroll planning.
- Own vendor/supplier relationships; identify cost-reduction and service-improvement opportunities.
- Optimize stockroom layout and storage procedures to improve fetch times and operational efficiency.
- Support CRM data quality and cascade actions to ensure accurate client information capture.
- Monitor P&L drivers and implement measures to reduce costs and improve store efficiency.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and manage store facilities in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience with at least 3 years managing people.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with strong customer-service orientation.
- Experience delivering training and developing operational competency within store teams.
- Knowledge of retail security and Health & Safety legislation (knowledge of USA retail laws cited as an asset).
- Proven ability to lead operational projects and work cross-functionally with HQ, merchandising and inventory teams.
- Flexible to work retail schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' retail experience, including at least 3 years in a people-management role and demonstrable experience in inventory control, loss prevention and operational project delivery.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 24 per hour.
