Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement key operational improvements and efficiencies to protect product assets against theft and damage while providing transparent reporting to the Store Manager
  • Support the Store Manager in driving best practices and optimizing store processes
  • Identify knowledge gaps within store operations and develop targeted training programmes
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding and follow-up training for new hires on the Cegid point-of-sale system
  • Lead stock loss reduction initiatives by implementing new policies and procedures; serve as primary contact for all stock management and replenishment processes
  • Drive best practices in stockroom optimization and operational excellence
  • Act as project lead for operational initiatives, providing implementation support to store and headquarters teams
  • Develop team understanding of product flow management and daily store operations
  • Support stock optimization analysis, reporting, and forward planning in collaboration with store teams
  • Collaborate with the CRM team and Store Manager to ensure client data capture, quality, and completeness
  • Develop forecasting tools to support accurate business planning for sales, inventory, and headcount/payroll projections
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships; identify cost reduction and service improvement opportunities
  • Optimize commercial solutions for stock organization to improve product fetch times, stockroom workflows, and proper inventory storage
  • Manage compliance recording of gifts given to and received from clients
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance across all store locations in accordance with company policy
  • Conduct weekly product line reviews and maximize replenishment potential to drive sales; collaborate with Merchandising on market optimization
  • Monitor all P&L aspects to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain updated negative inventory reporting and oversee weekly cycle counts and annual inventory procedures in coordination with the Inventory Control team
  • Manage facilities maintenance and upkeep within the store

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience
  • Minimum 3 years managing people
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of USA retail laws, security, and Health and Safety legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Passion for customer service and sales floor operations

Experience
