Céline Operations Associate position in New York on Madison Avenue. Full-time, $21–$25/hr, luxury retail inventory management and stock operations role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized fashion, ensuring optimal space utilization
- Support sales staff by locating and retrieving in-stock merchandise not currently displayed on the sales floor
- Anticipate merchandise maintenance needs and provide proactive solutions to storage and space challenges
- Ensure all merchandise is accurately ticketed and properly labeled
- Support visual merchandising and operations initiatives by managing the movement and storage of fixtures, furniture, merchandise, and display props
- Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, organizing cleaning and repair services as required
- Participate actively in inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation processes
- Manage and process all inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and incoming/outgoing shipments in accordance with established policies
- Accurately complete all paperwork and procedures related to inventory maintenance, including damage reports and returns
- Maintain the highest standards while packaging client merchandise for delivery
- Manage all aspects of the client delivery process, including troubleshooting missing shipments and tracking merchandise
- Document all client deliveries and locate merchandise as necessary
- Assist other departments and the sales floor as directed by Store Management
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with emphasis on stock and inventory management, preferably within a luxury environment
- Business school diploma, university degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Computer literacy and proficiency with various software packages
- Strong organizational and inventory management capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Action-oriented and results-driven mindset
