CELINE hiring a Part‑time Operations Associate in Chicago to manage inventory, deliveries and back‑of‑house logistics at 939 N Rush St.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain back‑of‑house inventory in an efficient, secure and orderly manner, ensuring merchandise is ticketed and stored according to brand standards.
- Manage all shipping and receiving activity including processing incoming/outgoing shipments, inter‑store transfers, stock rotations and returns as per policies.
- Lead and participate in cycle counts, full inventories and reconciliation procedures to preserve inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate and document client deliveries, package merchandise to the highest standards, and troubleshoot missing or delayed deliveries.
- Support sales and visual merchandising teams by retrieving stock not on the sales floor and by moving fixtures, props and furniture for visual projects.
- Perform facility and fixture maintenance coordination, arranging cleaning or repairs when required to maintain store presentation.
- Complete all paperwork and system entries related to inventory adjustments (damages, RTVs, discrepancies) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide floor support to sales teams or other departments as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Business school diploma, university degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum five years' experience in a retail environment with a primary focus on stock, inventory or logistics; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven competency using inventory or back‑office software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer‑service orientation.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving ability, action orientation and social perceptiveness in a client‑facing retail setting.
- Physically able to handle merchandise and fixtures as required by store operations.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of retail experience with a focus on stock or inventory; prior experience in a luxury retail environment is strongly preferred.
Education
Business school, university degree, or equivalent professional experience.
