Role & Responsibilities
- Direct the movement of all pre-sale merchandise entering and exiting the store.
- Ensure implementation of all shipping and receiving policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized manner.
- Support sales staff by providing merchandise from stock when needed.
- Anticipate and address merchandise maintenance needs.
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and ready for sale.
- Support visual and merchandising needs by moving and storing fixtures and merchandise.
- Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
- Participate in inventory preparation and cycle counts.
- Manage inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments.
- Complete paperwork related to inventory maintenance accurately.
- Ensure high standards in packaging client merchandise.
- Manage client delivery processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Document and track client deliveries.
- Assist other departments or on the sales floor as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail setting, focusing on stock or inventory, preferably in a luxury environment.
- Proficiency in computer usage and various software packages.
