CELINE — Omnichannel Operations Trainee in New York (temporary). Support omnichannel order flow, fulfilment and client delivery across warehouse, CSC and retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn and document the omnichannel order flow and its interface with merchandising and supply chain to optimise the client experience across store and online channels.
- Partner with the warehouse team to ensure timely transfer and order fulfilment; produce daily order reports and manage follow‑ups.
- Troubleshoot order issues and open IT tickets for ad hoc problems such as order export or address validation.
- Communicate with store teams to coordinate transfers and ensure on‑time fulfilment to warehouse.
- Support the Client Services Center (CSC) with order updates, cancellations, UPS tracking and return‑to‑sender/return updates.
- Track and support client delivery processes, including exception handling and resolution.
- Analyse fulfilment performance and inventory data to recommend optimisation opportunities and targets.
- Collaborate with the e‑commerce growth manager on inventory allocation across stock points and support packaging standardisation efforts.
- Contribute to omnichannel team projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Current college or university undergraduate student able to work full‑time hours, or an early career/post‑graduate retail professional.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and basic analysis.
- Customer service orientation with an enthusiasm for luxury goods and omnichannel retail.
- Proactive attitude with good observation, listening, and developing problem‑solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across corporate, retail and warehouse teams.

Experience
Beginner level. Ideal candidates are current undergraduates or recent post‑graduates with an eagerness to learn omnichannel operations and collaborate across corporate, retail and warehouse environments. Prior retail or logistics exposure is a plus but not required.
Education
Current college or university undergraduate or recent post‑graduate; studies in business, supply chain, logistics, retail management or related disciplines preferred.
