Céline seeks a Metal Part Development Technician in Strada in Chianti, Italy. Lead luxury metal component design and industrialization with €50,000 annual salary.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Interpret and transform design briefs into detailed technical specifications for metal components and accessories
  • Design and develop advanced 3D models using industry-leading CAD and product engineering software
  • Evaluate technical and industrial feasibility of components, proposing innovative solutions optimized for cost, quality, and production timelines
  • Collaborate with external suppliers on prototyping and serial production, ensuring adherence to specifications and process standards
  • Monitor and control quality of materials and finishes, with particular focus on steel and brass materials and galvanic and PVD treatment processes
  • Ensure product conformity with applicable regulations and internal quality standards
  • Provide technical support and consultation to designers and internal product development teams

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma in mechanical design
  • Minimum 5 years of consolidated experience in development and industrialization of metal components, preferably in luxury or high-fashion sectors
  • Advanced proficiency with 3D CAD software for mechanical and product design (Solidworks, VISI) and PDM/PLM systems
  • In-depth knowledge of metals, machining processes (microcasting, stamping, turning), and surface finishing techniques (galvanic plating, PVD)
  • Fluent English; French proficiency is advantageous
  • Mastery of product development dynamics in complex industrial environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude for working in international and dynamic settings
  • Proactivity, reliability, and strong goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings and manage multiple concurrent projects

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 50,000 per annum.
