About Celine
Founded in Paris in 1945 by Céline Vipiana, Celine is a storied French luxury house renowned for its modernist elegance, exacting craftsmanship, and quietly powerful vision of contemporary style. As part of LVMH, the Maison offers employees the opportunity to contribute to a global brand while remaining rooted in Parisian heritage, artisanal excellence, and creative discipline. Celine seeks individuals who combine cultural sensitivity, precision, and entrepreneurial spirit across design, merchandising, retail, operations, and corporate functions. The house fosters an environment where talent is expected to uphold exceptional standards, shape refined client experiences, and participate in the continuing evolution of a distinctive luxury identity.
Celine is recruiting a Master Data Lead to oversee the IS scope of Master Data within its SAP S/4HANA Fashion transformation programme, coordinating business and IS stakeholders through design, migration, go-live, and transition to RUN. The role is a full-time permanent position based in Paris, with hybrid working.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and manage the IS roadmap, priorities, and governance principles for the Master Data domain, ensuring alignment with Celine’s strategy and architecture.
- Clarify Business and IS roles for each data object and its lifecycle.
- Prepare decisions and trade-offs by outlining options, impacts, risks, costs, and timelines, and represent the domain in project and IS governance forums.
- Gather, consolidate, and challenge requirements from Business Managers, Process Owners, and Key Users, translating them into functional and technical requirements for IS and the integrator.
- Liaise between Business stakeholders, SAP teams, and other IS Leads to define priorities, data quality, and data responsibilities.
- Participate in solution design workshops, promoting a simple approach based on standard SAP.
- Ensure end-to-end data consistency across products, items, customers, suppliers, partners, bills of materials, organizational structures, and prices.
- Define and document master systems and data management rules; secure interfaces and data flows between SAP and contributing applications, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Define the migration scope, transformation rules, and quality criteria with the integrator and Data teams.
- Lead data migration, reconciliation, and loading, and identify and resolve anomalies such as duplicates, incomplete data, or inaccurate data through metrics and remediation plans.
- Coordinate SAP, legacy, Data Platform, integration, reporting, infrastructure, and security teams, and manage cross-functional dependencies across Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and other areas.
- Track deliverables, milestones, risks, and costs, and raise alerts when plans deviate.
- Contribute to all programme phases—design, build, testing, migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare—and ensure test readiness.
- Organize the handover to AMS and RUN, including documentation and governance, and establish service and continuous-improvement metrics.
- Champion the SAP programme vision to simplify processes, applications, and data flows.
- Work closely with experts to translate business challenges into sustainable IS solutions.
- Make complex topics accessible and facilitate decision-making between Business and IS.
- Effectively coordinate contributors without direct hierarchical authority.
