Celine is seeking a full-time curricular intern in Leather Research and Development, within the Purchasing department, to support the research and development of new leather materials and colours. The role collaborates with Style, Purchasing, Product Development, Quality and Production teams, and includes an €800 monthly expense allowance, a free canteen and a potential start in November 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the setup of chemical and physical tests on leather, then review and interpret the results.
  • Request technical information on leather from suppliers.
  • Enter and validate material and colour codes.
  • Participate in launching materials for new collections.
  • Help manage the materials archive.
  • Support checks of leather appearance and colour during the sampling phase.
  • Help monitor technical information, prices and timings for bringing articles into production.
  • Potentially travel to tanneries alongside experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying a degree or programme in chemistry, fashion or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Passion for the luxury sector and materials.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Good interpersonal and listening skills.
