Celine Leather Goods Apprentice (internship) in Florence — 900-hour artisanal leatherworking course with LVMH partner Maisons; selection 10–11 Dec 2025.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Follow an integrated 900-hour program combining 500 hours of classroom and laboratory instruction with 400 hours of alternating on-the-job training within a partnered Maison (Bulgari, Celine, Dior, Fendi, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton).
  • Learn and apply techniques for prototype development and leather goods production, including pattern interaction with the modelling department, leather selection, cutting, assembly and finishing.
  • Support the creation of prototypes under the supervision of atelier technicians and contribute to iterative refinements to meet Maison quality standards.
  • Participate in masterclasses, didactic visits to Maisons and meetings with industry professionals; study technical terminology in French and English.
  • Adhere to strict quality, cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop; demonstrate patience, precision and sustained attention to detail.
  • Attend the selection events (psychometric test, practical test, motivational interview) on 10–11 December 2025 and be available for course commencement on 7 January 2026.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18.
  • Resident or domiciled in a municipality of the Tuscany region.
  • If non-EU, valid work permit/permit of stay authorising employment is required.
  • Lower secondary school diploma (school leaving certificate from scuola secondaria di primo grado) or equivalent; candidates who have only completed primary education must demonstrate three years' documented experience in the relevant sector.
  • Strong manual dexterity, patience, precision and a keen eye for detail.
  • Availability for full-time, in-person attendance throughout the training period.
