Celine is seeking an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant intern to support its legal team with intellectual property portfolio management, monitoring, contracts, legal research, and disputes in an international context. This is a full-time, on-site internship for six months, beginning in July 2027, with a mandatory school internship agreement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the management of the intellectual property portfolio, including prior-rights searches, preparation of reputation files, and collection of evidence of use.
- Monitor and investigate activity on the internet and social media.
- Maintain and update the contract management tool.
- Contribute to drafting an IP newsletter.
- Conduct legal research and monitoring.
- Assist with pre-litigation and litigation matters, including preparing documents and analyzing legal instruments relating to trademark law, design law, copyright, parasitism, and unfair competition.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts concerning intellectual property and personality rights, including rights assignments, partnerships, licenses, and contracts for models, brand ambassadors, and influencers.
- Contribute to drafting legal memoranda and opinions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master 2 degree in intellectual property law.
- Passing the entrance examination for the CRFPA would be an advantage.
- An LLM would be an advantage.
- A previous consecutive six-month internship in a law firm or legal department.
- Organizational skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
- Dynamism, curiosity, autonomy, and a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Interest in Celine.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- A school internship agreement is mandatory.
