CELINE seeks Global Online Traffic Acquisition Manager in Paris. Lead performance marketing strategy across e-commerce channels for luxury fashion maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, model, and deploy the global Performance Marketing strategy aligned with e-commerce and omnichannel growth ambitions, ensuring balanced development of revenue, acquisition quality, traffic quality, and profitability
  • Structure a comprehensive vision of acquisition channels with integration of brand, business, and customer experience considerations
  • Activate media plans according to 360° engagement calendars and commercial highlights, ensuring consistent cascading of global priorities across markets
  • Coordinate local agencies for rigorous, coherent, and high-performing campaign execution
  • Define investment guidelines by region, market, and channel with weekly budget oversight, identifying variances and reallocating budgets as needed
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews to adjust plans based on results, market trends, and business priorities
  • Establish strategic framework for performance social aligned with Brand and Image teams, positioning platforms as full-funnel acquisition, retargeting, and conversion levers
  • Supervise platform objectives, audience optimization, formats, messaging, and measurement of paid social contribution to business outcomes
  • Develop global Search strategy optimizing allocation between Search, Shopping, and brand campaigns; create complementary SEO/SEA approach to maximize search intent coverage
  • Drive adoption of platform innovations through test-and-learn methodology, challenge agency recommendations, and ensure continuous optimization
  • Define targeting strategy leveraging segmentation, first-party data activation, and high-performing customer journey design with CRM and Data teams
  • Develop mechanisms to recruit new customers while strengthening engagement and lifetime value of existing customers
  • Establish efficient collaboration modes with global teams, markets, agencies, and strategic partners to identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain rigorous performance tracking and close relationships with platforms to surface new business levers
  • Ensure development and maintenance of technical environment supporting media activations (product feeds, CRM connectors, conversion APIs, tracking, attribution, incrementality testing)
  • Verify reliability of measurement systems and ensure their effective utilization in decision-making

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience managing acquisition channels in specialized agencies and/or as advertiser-side manager
  • Evolved within international and complex environments, ideally in premium, luxury, fashion, retail, or e-commerce sectors
  • Confirmed expertise in performance media campaign management with demonstrated interest in data, analytics, and performance measurement
  • Direct exposure to Asian, European, and American markets is a significant advantage
  • Advanced mastery of Google Ads ecosystems (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen) and strong understanding of campaign automation and optimization logic
  • Expert-level knowledge of major global and regional platforms: Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X, Google, Bing; regional platforms including Baidu, Naver, Yahoo! Japan, LINE, Kakao, WeChat, and RED
  • Strong capacity to rapidly integrate new platform features and innovations (automation, generative AI, AI Max, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio (Data Studio)
  • Advanced analytics and data exploitation skills with mastery of KPIs and performance indicators
