eCommerce Operations Assistant Manager at Céline, Shanghai – Drive digital marketplace growth and operational excellence for the LVMH luxury brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of marketplace channels, including campaign planning, product/content readiness, traffic management, promotion execution and overall trading performance
- Ensure smooth execution of key commercial moments and coordinate with internal teams and platform partners to deliver business objectives
- Drive eCommerce visual merchandising and onsite execution, ensuring product assortment, content, navigation and campaign visibility are aligned with brand and commercial priorities
- Monitor onsite performance and identify opportunities to improve customer journey, visibility and conversion
- Coordinate performance media planning and execution across relevant digital platforms, working with media agencies and internal stakeholders to maximize traffic, conversion and return on investment
- Monitor media performance and optimize investment based on business objectives and performance insights
- Track and analyze eCommerce KPIs, including traffic, conversion, sales, AOV, media performance and campaign results, and translate data into actionable business insights
- Prepare regular performance reporting and identify key drivers, opportunities and improvement areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 3–5 years of eCommerce, digital, or marketplace operations experience
- Experience in luxury, FMCG, retail, or other consumer-facing businesses (preferred)
- Hands-on experience in marketplace operations, eCommerce visual merchandising, and/or performance media
- Strong data analysis capability with experience using eCommerce and digital performance data to drive actions
- Experience managing external vendors, agencies, or platform partners and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of hands-on eCommerce, digital, or marketplace operations experience. Prior exposure to luxury goods, fast-moving consumer goods, retail, or consumer-facing sectors is advantageous. Demonstrated capability in managing marketplace channels, executing visual merchandising strategies, and optimizing digital media investments.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline.
