Céline Distribution Planning Manager role in New York—lead Americas supply chain launches and inventory optimization. $100K–$120K + bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead distribution strategies for new product launches across all categories in alignment with merchandising priorities and 360-degree retail strategy
- Execute complex allocation strategies within enterprise systems for seasonal collections and high-demand products
- Oversee product launch calendars and timelines to ensure smooth, timely delivery to stores and clients
- Monitor preorder performance and trends by category and location to anticipate needs and optimize launch strategy
- Monitor post-launch sales, stock coverage, and replenishment performance to optimize sell-through rates
- Manage inventory levels for Men's, Women's Shoes, and Ready-to-Wear across door-level locations to achieve target availability and overstock goals
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly distribution planning parameter management to optimize product flow from central to regional warehouses and local retail locations
- Identify and execute rebalancing strategies to improve stock performance across the zone
- Lead end-of-season management initiatives to optimize remaining inventory and align with business priorities
- Schedule and coordinate employee sale activities to align with inventory levels and business calendar
- Manage warehouse relationships, establishing clear priorities and workload distribution
- Manage and develop the direct report trainee with regular guidance and oversight to support execution excellence
- Communicate proactively on delays, risks, and constraints; drive mitigation plans with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar supply chain or distribution planning role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, CEGID, or SAP
- Quantitative analytical skills and strong data analysis capabilities
- Expert-level knowledge of supply chain, demand planning, and logistics
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple organizational levels and geographic regions
- Proficiency in synthesizing and simplifying complex information
- Strong organizational and project management skills with proven deadline adherence
