The Distribution Planning Assistant intern joins Celine’s Central Supply Chain team in Paris to support global product distribution and lead continuous-improvement projects in coordination with central and regional Merchandising and Logistics teams. The role covers worldwide leather goods KPI reporting, dashboard development and operational stock optimisation for Europe and Middle East boutiques; the internship is due to start in February 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to inform the development of new processes.
- Continuously improve existing tools and create new tools.
- Implement new KPIs to monitor service quality, including stock levels, stockouts and sales optimisation.
- Analyse and report on worldwide leather goods KPIs, including availability rate, stock coverage and fulfilment set-up.
- Optimise existing dashboards and create new ones as needed using Excel and Power BI.
- Manage the product distribution tool operationally to optimise target stock levels for Europe and Middle East boutiques.
- Monitor and adjust stock levels against target stock.
- Improve inventory management tools.
- Prepare and lead the monthly Europe–Middle East meeting.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bac+4/5 degree at a business school, university or equivalent.
- A first experience in distribution is preferred.
- Demonstrate rigour and strong organisational skills.
- Have strong oral communication skills to lead meetings and prepare minutes for teams.
- Show initiative and critical thinking in execution.
- Have a strong aptitude for calculation and reporting tools.
- Fluent in French and English.
