Celine is seeking a Compliance Legal Intern to join its Legal Department’s Compliance team in an international environment. The six-month internship begins in July 2027, is full-time and on-site in Paris, and requires a school internship agreement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Address a varied range of compliance matters, including anti-corruption under Sapin II, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML-CTF), and international sanctions.
  • Help draft and review legal documents in French and English.
  • Conduct legal research and help prepare legal notes and consultations for operational teams.
  • Help draft and update internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
  • Write a monthly newsletter.

Qualifications

  • Master 2 in Compliance and/or Business Criminal Law; the CRFPA entrance examination is a plus.
  • Six consecutive months of internship experience or an apprenticeship in a legal department or law firm, in France or abroad.
  • Dynamic, organized, rigorous, autonomous, and proactive, with strong teamwork, writing, and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Office software and legal databases.
  • A school internship agreement is required.
