Céline (LVMH) seeks a Compensation & Benefits Director in Paris to lead global remuneration strategy, HRIS governance, and payroll operations across France and Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy a comprehensive remuneration policy encompassing fixed pay, variable compensation, commissions, employee benefits, profit-sharing, and savings schemes tailored to regional market specifications and aligned with corporate and group strategy
- Pilot annual salary reviews in accordance with LVMH principles while ensuring equity across the organization
- Conduct continuous legal and fiscal monitoring of remuneration and benefits regulations across multiple regions and partner with local HR leadership to develop innovative benefits initiatives and optimize variable compensation plans for retail staff, health insurance, and retirement schemes
- Lead the CELINECARES benefits initiatives and cultivate a compensation & benefits culture within HR and management teams
- Guarantee compliance, reliability, and efficiency of payroll and personnel administration processes across France and applicable European markets
- Optimize payroll tools and procedures to ensure seamless and accurate personnel management
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and oversee contractual performance commitments
- Handle social and fiscal payroll declarations
- Define the house's HRIS strategy in alignment with HR requirements and business objectives
- Oversee global HRIS management, maintenance, and system evolution
- Ensure data quality, GDPR compliance, and identify digitalization opportunities while coordinating implementation projects across recruitment, talent management, training, and personnel administration
- Champion organizational change and artificial intelligence initiatives within the house
- Supervise the consolidation of staffing needs and salary mass valuation for budgetary and strategic planning cycles
- Develop and analyze social dashboards and key indicators including salary mass, headcount, turnover, and absenteeism
- Conduct salary mass and HR cost analyses and forecasting, proposing actionable plans and recommendations to optimize costs and enhance social performance
- Produce group and local HR reporting including SACR documentation, social statements, and gender equality indices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Labour Law, or equivalent (Bac+5 or higher)
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a similar compensation and benefits leadership role
- Recognized expertise in compensation & benefits strategy, payroll management, and HRIS deployment and administration in an international environment
- Proficiency with major HRIS enterprise resource planning systems and compensation grading tools
- Demonstrated leadership with strong pedagogical capabilities and the ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels
- Advanced analytical capabilities with proven ability to transform complex data into actionable strategic insights
- Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Rigorous attention to detail, discretion, and unimpeachable ethical standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum 15 years in a comparable compensation and benefits leadership function, with established expertise in compensation & benefits architecture, payroll operations, and HRIS implementation and governance within multinational or international environments. Prior exposure to major HRIS platforms and grading methodologies is advantageous.
Education
Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Labour Law, or equivalent advanced qualification (Bac+5 or higher).
