Celine, Paris: Collection Merchandising Assistant – Shoes internship (6 months, Jan 2027). Support footwear collection strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute competitive intelligence by monitoring new product launches, seasonal themes, and footwear category trends among primary competitors
- Conduct recurring performance analyses tracking sell-in and sell-out metrics
- Manage Celine pricing arrows, positioning by product line and typology
- Monitor field pricing in EUR and major currencies
- Participate in pre-buy management and end-of-season policy execution (back-to-central, markdowns, outlet placement)
- Support product data management and system updates during buying sessions and seasonal closures
- Produce ad-hoc analyses supporting budget, strategic planning, and compliance workflows
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bac+3/4/5 programme at a business school or equivalent university programme
- Prior experience in collection or retail merchandising is advantageous
- Demonstrated rigour and exacting attention to detail
- Spontaneous, thoughtful, and intellectually curious disposition
- Collaborative and energizing mindset capable of fostering team momentum
- Sensitivity to fashion market dynamics and aesthetic trends
- Fluent English proficiency

Experience
A foundational understanding of collection merchandising or retail buying is beneficial; however, entry-level candidates with strong analytical aptitude and fashion sensibility will be considered.

Student currently enrolled in Bac+3/4/5 programme (third, fourth, or fifth year of study) at an accredited business school or equivalent university-level education in business, merchandising, or related field.
