Céline seeks a Part-Time Client Advisor in Short Hills, NJ for Fall 2026 store opening; luxury retail sales, $22–$26/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
- Leverage product knowledge throughout the sales process to maximize sales volume, units per transaction, and transaction value
- Capture and maintain accurate customer information in the database system
- Promote store events and product launches through email, phone contact, and personalized client communication
- Build and expand a personal client book through consistent relationship management
- Follow up diligently on all customer transactions including shipping, alterations, and special requests
- Maintain store presentation and visual standards
- Support inventory control, shipping, and receiving operations as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience with a sales focus, preferably in luxury goods
- Client book and established clientele strongly preferred
- Proficiency with retail software systems and general computer applications
- Genuine passion for luxury design and sophisticated product aesthetics
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a flexible retail environment including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail experience with emphasis on sales, preferably in a luxury environment. Entry-level candidates with strong sales fundamentals and client relationships will be considered.
