CELINE — Business Planner in Paris. Lead sales forecasting, Best Estimate, Open to Buy and KPI reporting for Supply Chain & Merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the monthly sales forecasting process for assigned categories, integrating quantitative and qualitative market inputs and event-driven adjustments.
- Prepare and animate the Best Estimate for categories, coordinating with regional teams and communicating forecasts to internal stakeholders.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure forecast accuracy, sales performance and seasonal inventory management to support business steering.
- Lead preparation and facilitation of buying-session meetings and size purchasing envelopes (Open to Buy) in partnership with Merchandising and Finance.
- Ensure the overall balance of activity (global equation), propose corrective actions and adapt decisions to emerging trends.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Retail & Collection Merchandising, Supply Chain, Logistics, Production and Finance to align planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school or engineering school; specialization in Supply Chain, Merchandising or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales forecasting, business planning or demand planning within retail or luxury goods.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and planning/reporting platforms (Anaplan and Power BI).
- Strong analytical rigor, ability to manipulate large datasets, verify consistency of multiple sources and draw actionable conclusions.
- Highly organized, autonomous, flexible and proactive with excellent interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills.
- Commercial and product sensibility with an understanding of the luxury retail landscape.
- Fluent in French and English.
