Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for four companies/legal entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each entity
• Coordinate and manage the year-end closing process and preparation of statutory financial statements
• Ensure proper maintenance of the general ledger and oversee all journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
• Monitor and manage tax obligations, ensuring timely and accurate filings in coordination with external advisors
• Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants
• Manage inventory accounting and ensure proper valuation and control procedures are in place
• Oversee e-commerce accounting and related reconciliations where applicable
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, local statutory requirements, and corporate procedures
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
• Manage expense report processes and related accounting controls through internal tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Experience liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and public authorities
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
• Experience in luxury or fashion business is advantageous

Experience

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting or a related financial role. Experience working within the luxury or fashion sector is preferred but not required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 70,000 per annum.
